Structural Steel

We bring structure to life. Our team specializes in the detailing, fabrication, and erection of structural steel. Electrical

We power up your operations with expert electrical installations, including cable racking, cables, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, VSDs, lighting, small power, and instrumentation right through to testing, and full commissioning.

Piping

From precision welding to flawless installation, we specialize in industrial piping using a wide range of materials and certified welding procedures, ensuring quality and performance through NDT and full compliance with industry standards.

From our involvement with the 100 MW Redstone Concentrated Solar Plant (CSP) build, as well as co-powering the 115 MW Avondale and 240 MW Mooiplaats PV projects through a strategic Joint Venture, MEICS positioned itself at the forefront of next-generation energy infrastructure

  • Modifications to the Absorbers (Unit 6):
    The roof was modified by cutting and removing deformations, followed by re-welding and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
    Arc strikes inside the tank were removed, surface scars repaired, and NDT performed.
  • The vertical and horizontal welds on the inside were ground to specification in preparation for internal rubber lining.
